Richard's musical tastes stem from classic rock while his son Rob is inspired by pop and rock guitar. Over the past year they have practiced well together and learned some rock and traditional guitar songs plus a few movie themes. Brian from Glasgow originally played bass in the 60's with Polydor band The Denvers. After not picking up the guitar in 40 years he has restarted from a beginner's level. Brian has been learning to play some classic solo and rhythm guitar songs from the 60's & 70's. Ian is a train driver from Coylton and started lessons after seeing the progress of the other featured students. After several month's of guitar tuition he feels he is learning more and more each week and is now well on the way to building up a good collection of song's with various style's of playing. Bryce plays the pipes at various functions around Scotland so he already had a lot of musical experience. Though the guitar was still quite a new instrument for him Bryce realized early on the importance of practicing and has been learning various traditional and contemporary songs on his guitar.  A fun student who enjoys guitar lessons at her home in Prestwick. Eilidh has definitely overcome a few hurdles in learning to play the guitar. Not as easy as she first thought Eilidh has persevered and is now starting to play songs from bands such as Oasis, Stereophonics and Snow Patrol. An excellent student who has been having guitar lessons at her home in Prestwick. Anna can now play some of her favourite band's hits which inc songs by Green Day & Paulo Nutini. Anna has also written her first song and is now learning to record & play solo guitar. An honor guitar student who has been having lessons at his home in Dreghorn for over two years. John started as a complete beginner and is always keen to learn and practice new guitar skills. John has been learning various styles of playing including some pop, country, blues, rock, solo guitar and is now recording and playing along with band backing tracks. An intelligent pupil who has been getting guitar tuition at his home in Prestwick. Ross has a good knowledge of bands & started lessons learning a variety of finger picking songs on his nylon guitar. After a year of lessons he bought a new electric guitar and has since been learning some rock songs & solo guitar. I am currently teaching around twenty students in Ayrshire.
